Testimonial
“I had the pleasure of working with Jessica through her consulting work with the Menlo School. Jessica worked with our entire community–faculty, staff, students, parents, and board members–and earned their trust and respect immediately with her kind, clear, and generous guidance. In particular, I got the chance to design several faculty and staff PD days with Jessica. She did a great job of helping us clarify our community’s current climate and goals. Her years as a teacher shine through in all she does as she makes sure to not only offer essential information and context in her sessions, but also actionable and immediate opportunities for teachers and staff to bring humanizing pedagogy into their interactions with students and one another. Jessica is also gifted when it comes to facilitating relationship building experiences in her PD sessions, so the participants leave with a more grounded sense of community and commitment to the work at hand.
Beyond Jessica’s remarkable talent as a facilitator, I am impressed by her work ethic, which extends far beyond mere focus and effort. Jessica is someone who leads with a profound ethic of care for all of the people and communities her work serves. She is someone whose dedication to deep inquiry, thoughtful process, careful listening, and proactive, nuanced, lasting practices is manifest in all she does. Her attention to detail in both her business and her relationships facilitates lasting, personalized, and meaningful growth for her clients. Making sure she has a seat at your table will uplift the work of everyone in attendance; you just feel inspired and encouraged to put your best foot forward, think a little broader, work a little harder, and share a little more when you’re in the presence of Jessica Stovall!
I am always happy to speak about the meaningful impact Jessica continuously makes in both my personal and professional life. She is a star on the rise and we are all so lucky that she brings her gifts to the essential work of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. “
